Lana R. Swingler, Of Counsel
Prior to joining Pollack Law Firm, Lana Swingler practiced for several years as a partner in an insurance defense firm. She eventually left that firm to practice on her own, while continuing to do business with the same clients. She now concentrates her practice in the areas of insurance law and probate with an emphasis on the court approval of settlements for minors, adult incompetents, wrongful death settlements and probating payment of death benefit coverage on automobile policies. She also handles small estates, guardianships and special needs trusts.
Ms. Swingler was admitted to the Bar in 1982. She is licensed to practice in the State of Indiana and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of Indiana. She graduated magna cum laude from Ball State University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. She received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Indiana University, where she was an Associate Editor of the Indiana Law Review.
Ms. Swingler has been certified as a Women's Business Enterprise by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council in partnership with the Women's Business Enterprise Council-Great Lakes.
